Alex is a long-time favorite of numerous staff here at Looking Glass. And for good reason. He is an incredible human, and his photography is equally amazing. Alex will talk about his landscape photography and provide advice for shooting your own captivating landscapes. With this in mind, he plans to cover the following topics during his talk: Finding your perspective; Composing your shots; Scouting your locations; How he does location research.
About the Speaker:
Alex McClure is an Olympus Trailblazer from Tempe Arizona. He started capturing photographs more than 30 years ago. He specializes in Landscape and Commercial Photography. Alex: “I love teaching people and showing them how to use photography as a way to communicate their vision”. Alex has backpacked all over the Grand Canyon, High Sierra and Cascade Mountains. Photographing everything from Lake Louise and the Columbian Ice fields to Yellowstone, Yosemite and Kings Canyon. Lately he has focused his lens the Arizona/Utah desert & Grand Canyon. Alex: “My goal is to make beautiful photographs that inspire and motivate people”.
