The three classes below are comprehensive, and taught by seasoned photographers and teachers. Nikon, Tamron and Rogue/Expo have teamed up with Looking Glass to offer them free of charge for our Anniversary Event. It’s our way of saying thank you for your remarkable support. Watching a pro sport, or your child play their sport, can be fun and exciting. Shooting pictures of sports and the fast paced action can be difficult and frustrating! Looking Glass understands how tough it is to get started making great sports pictures. Nikon representative, Jeff Mitchell, has many years of sports photography experience. Come learn his tips and tricks to make your sports pictures come alive. Jeff will discuss Exposure modes, ISO settings, lens selection, Menu settings, and various techniques and tips for getting Gold Medal pictures of your athlete! Please note: this seminar is aimed at the beginning sports photographer and will cover non-professional gear.

Landscape & Nature Photography Basics (sponsored by Tamron)
Join pro photographer and Tamron Technical Representative Jeff Allen as he discusses Landscape, Nature and even some Travel photography basics. Jeff’s fast-paced presentation will share tips and tricks including choosing and using the right lenses, perspective and composition, so you can find that great image anytime you walk into your backyard or halfway around the world.
Photography has been Jeff Allen’s passion for over 30 years. As a professional he has worked in the wedding, portrait, nature, and sports photography genres as well as taught thousands of photographers how to create better images. He has facilitated workshops and seminars throughout the country for all levels of photographers.
Jeff is a member of Tamron’s Technical Team. As National Technical Representative, he travels the country extensively, and speaks on behalf of Tamron dozens of times a year helping people to choose equipment that’s right for them.

Tips for Better Light in Your Photography (sponsored by Rogue and Expo)
Join Kevin Deskins as he demonstrates practical & useful ways to enhance flash photography using Rogue Flash Benders & Diffusers. He will also discuss the importance of Custom White Balance using the Expo Disc. Both of these demonstrations will enhance your photographs & decrease the amount of time you will need to spend in post production.
Kevin Deskins is a freelance photographer specializing in portraits. His lighting techniques and precision with exposure have become his photographic trademark. Kevin now works for ExpoImaging, a company dedicated to marketing, designing, and distributing great products like the ExpoDisc and Rogue Lighting Modifiers. Kevin attended college in Columbus majoring in photography, worked for a local portrait studio, and moved on to work in the photographic industry.
