Chris will present and discuss a yearlong photography series he has embarked on. The project is titled Project 104, and is an exploration and observation of humanity through portraiture. Two portraits a week. Three Questions. Fifty-two Weeks. He will dive into how it came to be and what it means. Chris will share many stories within this. He will touch on emotion, vulnerability and honesty, and the idea of challenge. His intent is simply to keep his talk and discussion with you open and honest.
About the Speaker:
Chris Daniels is a photographer, artist and retoucher based in Nashville, TN, and is best known for his creative, environmental, and moody portraits. He has a particular ability to connect with and challenge his subjects in a meaningful and memorable way, resulting in very authentic and true images as well an experience. Chris exerts great energy into getting to know who his subjects on a deeper level so that the images created really speak to the individuality and uniqueness of each person. His work focuses on entertainment, advertising, commercial and editorial work, as well as conceptual fine art, and some fashion.
