Mirrorless Madness Event #1: Olympus Day!
Saturday, July 8th
On Saturday, July 8th, we’re officially making it Olympus Day at Looking Glass. We have numerous activities planned for you, with two goals in mind: (1) Teach you about the strengths/advantages of mirrorless camera systems and specifically, the Olympus OM-D system; (2) Deliver fun and engaging opportunities to explore Olympus mirrorless cameras first-hand. Our planned activities are outlined below:
10:00am to 6:00pm: Olympus Camera & Lens DEMO STATION
Representatives from Olympus will be on-hand for one reason: Talk with you! Whether you’re a seasoned Olympus shooter or just curious about what makes Olympus innovative and different, you should come on by. And while you get answers to your questions straight from the source, you can get hands-on with the newest cameras and lenses! Simply drop-in between 10am and 6pm!
11:00am to 12:00pm: EDUCATIONAL TALK with Becky Clough, Olympus Representative
Discover what makes the Olympus OM-D mirrorless camera system unique These very compact, lightweight cameras and M.Zuiko lenses may just be what you’ve been waiting for. Small, lightweight, durable (most are weather proofed), and amazing optics. Space is limited.

1:00pm to 2:00pm: VISIONARY TALK with Mike Boening, Olympus Visionary & pro photographer
Explore and learn about street & urban photography in an interactive, classroom setting. Space is limited.

3:00pm to 4:30pm: VISIONARY PHOTOWALK with Olympus & Looking Glass Photo
Join a small group of 10 or so folks on this street & urban photography photowalk, led by Olympus Visionary Mike Boening. Location is TBD, but will likely be in the Oakland Chinatown and/or Jack London Square area. Space is limited, so if you’re interested, please take a moment and register today!
