PARADISE FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS & DOGS: MARIN
Marin County is no ordinary place. Roughly 75 percent of Marin is preserved either as national, state or county parks, or as Marin Agricultural Land Trust properties. This land is protected forever. And since Marin is so dog friendly, opportunities abound for both your creativity and your furry friend. Looking Glass Photo & Camera in Berkeley has long supported the Arts in the Bay Area, and each photographer who seeks to capture it in photos. Looking Glass Photo owner, Jen Waicukauski, shares some of her favorite places to photograph her dogs.
Mill Valley-Sausalito Path
“This path provides wonderful views of the Bay and its wildlife. Stop by the Sycamore Dog Park for some play time.
If you’re lucky, you’ll get the fog which can create msytique with its unique quality of light.”
“Room to roam, off leash! Not to mention if you get a low tide, the reflections of the sky and everything
else really pop and make for some beautiful images.”
Three Wells and Old Mill Park
“A favorite walk of mine! Start in downtown Mill Valley and walk to Old Mill Park. From there, take Cascade Drive
to Three Wells water holes and waterfall fun at Cascade Falls.”
